		<description><![CDATA[Yeah I probably should have further emphasized how weird I found the whole food thing. I never even saw a family sit down to eat. Life going on behind closed doors. Maybe that&#039;s kind of normal - stay away from the CDR and other prying eyes.

I just couldn&#039;t face the TV most of the time. Newspapers weren&#039;t much better. Did you pick up Granma? Every headline a manifesto. More to come on that....

		<description><![CDATA[The portions is what made is feel uncomfortable... and the fact that the family will not eat with you. They just kinda hang around waiting to serve you. I loved my casas and their hostesses. Definitely a more down to earth experience than hotels even if you do get the luxuries. 

P.S. The TV channels killed me. Seriously, play by plays of old chess games from the 80s?!]]></description>
